News: Accident involving multiple vehicles kills one in Fife

FIFE, WA – A multi-vehicle accident on I-5 killed one person Friday morning, reports KOMO News.

Authorities responded to the scene around 4 a.m. after receiving reports of an accident that included at least one death on I-5. This accident caused traffic to back-up which then resulted in two-semi-trucks colliding, which further disrupted traffic.

One of the semi-trucks was carrying cream and milk, which spewed on the scene following the crash.

Traffic was backed up for miles. Officials say it could take hours to clean up the area and to investigate the accidents. It is not known at this time what caused the fatal collision.
