GIG HARBOR, TX – One person sustained injuries after a semi-truck overturned into a ditch on SR-302 Thursday evening.
According to a tweet by WSP, the accident occurred at about 5 p.m. near the intersection with Goldman Drive.

Troopers say the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and veered to the left to avoid striking a stopped vehicle. The truck then overturned into a roadside ditch.
The passenger in the vehicle sustained only minor injuries as a result. No other injuries were reported.
