News: Multiple boats catch fire at Vashon Island yacht club

VASHON ISLAND, WA – Two boats were engulfed in flames at a busy yacht club on Vashon Island Monday morning.

According to KIRO, the fire broke out at about 4:13 a.m. at the Quartermaster Yacht Club within the 23000 block of Vashon Highway Southwest.

The blaze started at one 25-foot vessel and eventually spread to another nearby.

It is still unclear what sparked the blaze. However, no injuries have been reported as a result.
