2 hospitalized after RV explodes in Auburn

AUBURN, WA – Two women were sent to the hospital after suffering serious injuries in an Auburn RV explosion late Thursday morning.

According to Q 13 Fox, the incident was reported around 10 a.m. within the 1300 block of 297th Street Southeast.

Investigators with the Valley Regional Fire Department say two women were inside the home at the time of the explosion, which destroyed the RV and damaged a nearby home. They were both rushed to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.

An investigation into the cause of the explosion remains underway.
