Trucking accident blocks lanes on I-5

SEATTLE, WA – Troopers with the Washington State police have reported delays on I-5 following an auto vs. semi collision Tuesday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the Washington State Police, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 near the exit to Sout Michigan Street at about 9:43 a.m.

Information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash has not yet been released.

No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, troopers have advised motorists to avoid the area as delays are likely while the wreckage is cleared from the interstate.
