Mukilteo plance crash endangers drivers

On Behalf of | May 1, 2017 | Personal Injury

At the Law Offices of Matthew Dubin we are used to representing drivers who are injured in traffic accidents. However, we occasionally see other situations as well. On Tuesday, May 2, a small airplane crashed on the Mukilteo Speedway in Snohomish County, taking out powerlines, and exploding into a fireball that fell onto cars during the afternoon commute.

It was just before 4pm on Tuesday when the plane lost power after takeoff. The pilot, attempting to avoid hitting a building, steered the plane toward Harbour Pointe Boulevard, but he didn’t quite make it. As a result of the crash, around 9,000 households lost power for 40 minutes. Amazingly, there were no serious injuries.

The crash was caught on a driver’s dashcam.

You never know what might happen when you’re on the road. Keep an eye out, be careful, and if you are injured, make sure you call a qualified personal injury attorney.
