News: Semi-truck driver hospitalized after rollover crash on I-90 West in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – Authorities say a semi-truck driver was transported to the hospital following a rollover crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 on Monday afternoon, reports KOMO News.

The preliminary report stated the accident occurred near Rainier Avenue around 1:50 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a semi-truck overturned on its side and blocking all westbound traffic.

The male driver of the truck suffered head and hand injuries in the crash. According to officials, he remained conscious and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

No updates regarding his condition or when the roadway was reopened were provided.
